Custom Carpentry in Crawfordville, FL
One-off builds and the projects that do not fit a standard service list. If you are not sure, it is worth asking.
Custom Carpentry in a Crawfordville home, in town or further out
Custom carpentry in a newer Crawfordville home is often how the home gets its personal touches, a mantel, a run of floating shelves, or an accent wall. In one of the older homes downtown, it is more often a piece built for a spot no standard size will fit. Either way, Kevin builds it on site and fits it to the room.
Crawfordville is the seat of Wakulla County, and the homes here run from older wood framed ones in town to newer ones out toward Wakulla Springs.
If it is made of wood and needs to fit a specific spot, it is worth asking. We build accent walls, floating shelves, mantels and handrails, and take on the projects someone else started and did not finish. After more than 30 years, there is very little Kevin has not built at some point.

Custom Carpentry in Crawfordville Questions
What if my project does not fit a standard service?
That is what custom carpentry is for. One-off builds, odd repairs, a piece built to fit a specific spot, the things that do not have their own page. After 30 years there is not much Kevin has not built, so ask.
Can you build from a photo or an idea rather than a plan?
Yes. Bring a photo or describe it the way you would to a neighbor. Kevin works out the how, and the questions he asks while he is looking at the space are what the estimate gets built from.
Do you work on newer homes around Crawfordville as well as older ones?
Yes, both. In an older home that can mean working with the details that are already there, and in a newer one it is often about upgrading builder-grade finishes to something you chose. Kevin fits the approach to the home.
Do you get out to Crawfordville, or is it too far?
Not too far at all. Crawfordville is a regular trip for us and well within the area we cover south of Tallahassee, so getting out to you is rarely a question.
How fast can you get to Crawfordville for custom carpentry?
Most custom carpentry jobs in Crawfordville start the same way. Amanda comes back to you within 24 hours and books a time that suits you, and the detailed estimate follows once Kevin has seen it.
