What to tell us
Not much, honestly. Kevin works the price out after he has seen the job, so the message only has to get him to the door. The room and roughly what you are after is plenty, and you do not need the trade word for it. Describe it the way you would to a neighbor.
Two things do help if they apply. Say whether you have already bought the materials, because installing cabinets you picked out yourself is a different job, at a different price, from building them. And if you are outside Tallahassee, put your town in the message so Amanda can confirm scheduling with you.
A photo saves a lot of describing, so send one if it is something you can point a camera at. And when Amanda offers you a time, pick one you can be there for. Kevin goes through it with you rather than measuring up alone, and the questions he asks while he is there are what the estimate gets built from afterwards.
