Cabinet Repair and Refacing in Crawfordville, FL
Doors, drawers, hinges and boxes repaired, or refaced when the layout is worth keeping.
Cabinet Repair and Refacing in a Crawfordville home, in town or further out
Around Crawfordville, the hinges, slides and drawer joints usually give out before the cabinet boxes do, simply from years of daily use. So a kitchen that looks tired is often still sound underneath, and repairing or refacing it costs a fraction of replacing it. Kevin will look at yours and tell you which one it needs.
Crawfordville is the seat of Wakulla County, and the homes here run from older wood framed ones in town to newer ones out toward Wakulla Springs.
Not every kitchen needs new cabinets. If the boxes are solid and the layout works, refacing gives you a new-looking kitchen for a fraction of a replacement, with new doors and drawer fronts, new veneer on the boxes and new hardware. Where something is broken rather than dated we repair it instead. That might be drawer boxes that have come apart, doors that will not sit flush, worn slides and hinges, or a run cut down and rebuilt to take a new appliance.
What Cabinet Repair and Refacing Typically Involves
- Doors and drawer fronts replaced, boxes refaced
- Drawer boxes, slides and hinges repaired
- A run modified to fit a new appliance
- Kept when the layout works, replaced when it does not

Lumber Lunatics did a great job repairing our cabinets. We had an upper cabinet that was pulling away from the wall and beginning to tilt, and I was worried it might eventually come down. They fixed the problem and did a very thorough job.

Cabinet Repair and Refacing in Crawfordville Questions
Can my cabinets be refaced instead of replaced?
Often, yes. A lot of homes have cabinet boxes that are still perfectly sound behind doors that look forty years old, and that is the ideal refacing job rather than a teardown.
Can you modify a cabinet to fit a new appliance?
Yes. Cutting a cabinet down to take a new oven, or adding a drawer where there was a fixed panel, is common work, and it is a lot cheaper than replacing the run.
Do you work on newer homes around Crawfordville as well as older ones?
Yes, both. In an older home that can mean working with the details that are already there, and in a newer one it is often about upgrading builder-grade finishes to something you chose. Kevin fits the approach to the home.
Do you get out to Crawfordville, or is it too far?
Not too far at all. Crawfordville is a regular trip for us and well within the area we cover south of Tallahassee, so getting out to you is rarely a question.
How fast can you get to Crawfordville for cabinet repair and refacing?
Most cabinet repair and refacing jobs in Crawfordville start the same way. Amanda comes back to you within 24 hours and books a time that suits you, and the detailed estimate follows once Kevin has seen it.
