Our Story
Two years as a company, thirty years in the trade.
Both numbers are true, and they tell you something. Lumber Lunatics has been an LLC for 2 years. Kevin has been a carpenter for over 30, and came up the long way: rough carpentry first, then finish and trim, and now the custom work he is best known for. Trim and doors are where that shows.
There is no fleet and no office. Kevin and his son are the two on site, and Amanda, Kevin's wife, picks up every inquiry, books the estimate and tells you when we are coming. Three people, and that is the whole company. Customers tend to notice: the father and son working together is the thing they bring up in reviews without being asked.
In 2 years that has added up to 30+ Google reviews at 5.0 stars, with none below five. We work on homes, not commercial buildings, across Tallahassee and the Big Bend.
