Service area

Carpenter Serving Tallahassee & the Big Bend

Based in Tallahassee, covering 8 towns across the Big Bend, roughly an hour out. If you are near the edge of that, just ask.

Coverage You Can Count On

If you are inside the service area you get the same two people, the same free estimate, and the same workmanship warranty, whichever town you call from. If you are near the edge of the area, just ask.

Our radius is roughly 60 miles from Tallahassee. Not sure if your city is covered? Call us at (954) 812-8178 and ask. We often serve nearby towns even if they are not listed below.

Eight towns, and they do not want the same things

The drive out is about the same hour whichever way we point the truck. The homes at the end of it are not alike, and what people call us for in Quincy is not what they call us for in Midway. If you are wondering whether your job is a standard one, this is usually why it is not.

Tallahassee
Two very different kinds of home in one city: older homes near the center that have settled with age, and newer homes on the northeast side reaching the point where things need updating.
Crawfordville
One of the wetter, more shaded parts of the area we cover. The coastal damp off the Gulf and the heavy tree cover are hard on anything built outdoors, so the materials matter here.
Monticello
Some of the oldest homes we work on. The rooms in them were not designed to hold what is in them now, so an update has to be made to fit.
Havana
A town that appreciates its old buildings and puts them back into use rather than replacing them, and homeowners here tend to feel the same about their own homes.
Midway
The newest homes we work on, so the work here is usually adding what the original build did not include rather than restoring what age has worn.
Quincy
Beautiful old homes built at a grand scale, with the porches, columns and millwork that take real carpentry to keep looking right.
Blountstown
Out on the Apalachicola River at the western edge of the area we cover. The drive is long enough that we plan to get the work done in one visit.
Sneads
Lake country, right on Lake Seminole. The humidity off the water moves wood more than it does inland, so waterfront work needs materials chosen for that.

Each of those towns has its own page with what we actually see there, and the services listed on it are the ones that come up. If your address sits between two of them, call and we will tell you which side of the line it falls.

Do Not See Your City?

We may still serve your area. Call us with your address and we will tell you straight whether we can get there and how fast.
