Do you handle the plumbing in a bathroom remodel?
No. Kevin does the vanity, tile, shower and tub surrounds, storage and trim. If a fixture is moving or a new circuit is needed, that needs a licensed plumber or electrician, and he tells you which at the estimate.
Can you build a tiled shower or tub surround?
Yes. Tiled shower surrounds, niches and benches, and tub surrounds are carpentry and tile work Kevin does. The plumbing behind the valve is the part that goes to a licensed plumber.
Does the owner actually do the work?
Yes. Kevin is on every job. His son Lil Kevin works alongside him, and the person who prices your project is the person who builds it. There is no sales rep handing your job to a crew you have never met.
How big is your crew?
Three of us, and that is the whole company. Kevin and his son Lil Kevin are the two on site, and Amanda handles every call and inquiry. The two of them get through what a crew of four would.
Do you work on commercial buildings?
No, Lumber Lunatics works on homes rather than commercial buildings.

Do you offer free estimates?
Yes. Kevin comes out and looks at the job with you and talks through the options. He does not price it on the spot, because materials and labor have to be worked out properly, so the detailed estimate comes to you afterwards. There is no charge and no obligation.

Is there a warranty on your work?
Yes. We provide a workmanship warranty on every project, with the specific terms spelled out in your written proposal before the work begins.
Do you handle plumbing and electrical work?
If your project needs major plumbing or electrical work, Kevin will tell you so and recommend you bring in a licensed plumber or electrician. He is not licensed for that work and he is not going to pretend otherwise. You will hear that at the estimate, not halfway through the job.
Are you insured?

How far out are you booking?
Scheduling varies based on the scope of your project and our current workload. We will provide our current availability when we discuss your project.
