Custom fence and gate construction for privacy, property lines, and curb appeal.
Fences and Gates for a Monticello property in the old town
On the older streets around Monticello, what goes up along a home's frontage gets noticed, so a front fence is as much about the look from the sidewalk as the line it draws. You can match the picket profile and post detail already on the street, or go with something cleaner and more current, whichever suits the home you want. Behind the home a plainer run does the job, and Kevin sets the posts to stay put.
Monticello is the seat of Jefferson County, with some of the oldest homes anywhere we work. Kevin plans outdoor work here around the home you have, whether it is older or newer.
We build and repair wood fencing, including the gates that usually fail first. That covers new privacy fence, replacing sections that have rotted or leaned, and building wide rolling gates for driveways and side yards.

Fences and Gates in Monticello Questions
What takes a fence down fastest around here?
Root heave under the posts and constant damp where the wood meets the ground. Kevin sets and anchors the posts for the conditions, because the posts are what fail first, not the panels.
Can you repair part of a fence instead of the whole line?
Yes. If the panels are sound and it is the gate or a run of posts that has gone, Kevin replaces what has actually failed rather than quoting a whole new fence by default.
Can outdoor work suit one of the older Monticello homes?
Yes. Many homes here have settled over the years, so Kevin fits a deck or Hardie siding to the walls as they stand. A fence or pergola is built to suit the home too, and how closely any of it follows the older character is your decision. He looks at the home in person and talks the options through with you first.
Do you come out to Monticello?
Yes, regularly. Monticello is a straight run east of Tallahassee and well inside our normal range, so getting out here is rarely an issue.
How fast can you get to Monticello for fences and gates?
Most fences and gates jobs in Monticello start the same way. Amanda comes back to you within 24 hours and books a time that suits you, and the detailed estimate follows once Kevin has seen it.
