Cabinet Repair and Refacing in Quincy, FL
Doors, drawers, hinges and boxes repaired, or refaced when the layout is worth keeping.
Cabinet Repair and Refacing for a grand older Quincy home
Not every kitchen in an older Quincy home needs tearing out to feel current. Where a later kitchen is still solid behind dated doors, refacing brings the look up to date with new doors, drawer fronts and hardware for a fraction of a full replacement. That keeps more of the budget for the parts of a home this age that may need it more, which is often the porch or the exterior trim.
Quincy is the seat of Gadsden County, known for how much of its old-town character has stayed intact. For us that means a lot of grand older homes where an update has to fit the home it is going into.
Not every kitchen needs new cabinets. If the boxes are solid and the layout works, refacing gives you a new-looking kitchen for a fraction of a replacement, with new doors and drawer fronts, new veneer on the boxes and new hardware. Where something is broken rather than dated we repair it instead. That might be drawer boxes that have come apart, doors that will not sit flush, worn slides and hinges, or a run cut down and rebuilt to take a new appliance.

Lumber Lunatics did a great job repairing our cabinets. We had an upper cabinet that was pulling away from the wall and beginning to tilt, and I was worried it might eventually come down. They fixed the problem and did a very thorough job.

They installed our new oven and microwave which required some cabinetry work, including adding a drawer.

Cabinet Repair and Refacing in Quincy Questions
Can my cabinets be refaced instead of replaced?
Often, yes. A lot of homes have cabinet boxes that are still perfectly sound behind doors that look forty years old, and that is the ideal refacing job rather than a teardown.
Can you modify a cabinet to fit a new appliance?
Yes. Cutting a cabinet down to take a new oven, or adding a drawer where there was a fixed panel, is common work, and it is a lot cheaper than replacing the run.
Do you work on the grand older homes around Quincy?
Yes, they are a lot of our work here. What people want varies. Some want a room updated to feel current, and others want to keep the older character and simply make it work better. Kevin builds to the room as it has settled and follows your lead on how much of the original to carry through.
Does work on an older Quincy home cost more?
It can take longer, so it can cost more, and we say that in the estimate rather than discovering it halfway through. On a home this age the work is rarely standard and cannot be rushed, so the estimate reflects the real time it takes.
How fast can you get to Quincy for cabinet repair and refacing?
